SIFAA Installation Guide

Installing your SIFAA shower filter is quick and easy — no tools required! Follow these simple steps to start enjoying pure, filtered water in under 2 minutes.

📦 What's In The Box

  • 1x SIFAA Shower Filter Unit
  • 1x Filter Cartridge (pre-installed)
  • 1x Teflon Tape (for sealing)
  • 1x Installation Guide

🔧 Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Remove your existing shower head — unscrew it by hand or with a wrench from the wall pipe.
  2. Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the wall pipe (3–4 times clockwise) to ensure a watertight seal.
  3. Screw the SIFAA filter onto the wall pipe by hand — turn clockwise until firmly in place.
  4. Attach your shower head onto the outlet end of the SIFAA filter — screw it on clockwise.
  5. Turn on the water — run for 30 seconds to flush the filter before first use.
  6. You're done! Enjoy clean, filtered water from your very first shower. 🚿

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Compatible with all standard G1/2 shower connections
  • Do not overtighten — hand-tight plus a quarter turn is sufficient
  • If you notice any leaking, add more Teflon tape to the threads

🔄 Filter Replacement

Replace the SIFAA cartridge every 6 months or 10,000 litres for optimal filtration performance.

  1. Unscrew the filter body (bottom section)
  2. Remove the old cartridge and dispose
  3. Insert the new SIFAA cartridge
  4. Screw the filter body back on securely
  5. Run water for 30 seconds before use
